I've been brushing Harper's gums and lack of teeth with my finger for a while now, mainly because there hasn't been much to brush. But the other day I decided it was time to teach her how to brush her own teeth. So I went out and bought her first tooth brush. It's pink and yellow and has a picture of Eeyore on it. For those of you who don't know, Harper LOVES Eeyore. She has an Eeyore doll that her Grandpa and Nana Holohan gave her that she sleeps with every night.
So the other day I sat her on the counter in the bathroom and started to brush my teeth (which she loves to watch). Then I handed her her new tooth brush and asked her where Eeyore was. She found him right away and got super excited. Then I put her toothpaste on it, and she immediately put it in her mouth and shook her head from side to side. The whole experience was really good until it was time to put it away. That's her least favorite part. Yesterday after we were finished, I took her into her bedroom, and she walked right back to the bathroom and pointed up at the sink. Here's a quick peak at her new hobby.
She's growing up so fast! And look how long her hair is getting! :)
