10 Weeks

Here we are at 10 weeks, and as of yesterday I am feeling a bit better. It's ironic actually, because this past week has also been the hardest. I felt terrible all week. I had a hard time getting out of bed and had no motivation. My house definitely suffered from my lack of anything. But two nights ago, I changed up my pillow layout, and it's helping me sleep better. That makes all the difference in the world! It's just weird to have to do that so early. I didn't have to do that the first time until well into my second trimester. But I'm getting restful sleep now, and I feel good when I wake up. Yesterday Harper and I went to the square downtown with my friend Tweed and watched all the dogs and ate ice cream. Harper would just start laughing every time she saw a dog, and there were a lot! During her nap, we finally got our bedroom painted. We've only needed to do that for about 7 months. It looks so great. And then after her nap, we took her down to see our friends' chickens. At first she was kind of freaked out, but then she started laughing at them. She especially liked it when Laura and I would tell her what a chicken "says." It was a great way to end a pretty bad week. And I am loving this warmer weather! I'm sure that helps.
