Here we are, 8 days into December, with 8 days of giving complete. It's been so great watching the girls enjoy blessing other people, and also coming up with additional ways to give on their own. This past Thursday we went to Target with my friend Beth and her three kids. First we hit up the snack shop for some hot dogs. When they were finished, her boys, being boys, were still hungry. They were over by the popcorn popper watching the popcorn pop up and spill over, when Harper walks over to me and asks for a penny. When I ask her why, she said, "to buy them popcorn!"
Under no circumstances was I going to refuse her! We walked up to the counter and her little voice said, " one popcorn please." When he gave it to her, she turned right around and gave it to her friends. Seeing their excitement, she looked up at me and smiled so sweetly!
Christmas is by far my favorite time of year. Watching my kids enjoy making this time of year special for others is so incredible! Today was a busy day, and I'm super tired...but my heart is full.
