I've been a slacker. But I've also been feeling very bleh. I don't throw up much during pregnancy, which might make some people hate me. But that doesn't mean the nausea doesn't visit. I feel sick every day, always in the morning, and sometimes later, too. Sometimes it's so bad I wish I would throw up, because I think I would feel better. But it is what it is. The first sypmtom I've experienced with both pregnancies, however, is the bloating and constipation. I know, not a pretty topic. But with Harper that only lasted the first trimester, and that symptom does seem to be easing a bit now. I'm already showing, which is crazy to me since I'm only 9 weeks along. Yeah, yeah...second baby I know. But 9 weeks??!! Oh well, the maternity clothes have been unpacked.
I write all this to say, that while I'm going to do my best to get back to blogging every day for those of you who are daily readers (aka my mom), I just don't always have the motivation right now. But I'm only a month away from my second trimester, and hopefully my energy will pick up a little.
As far as the rest of the family goes, Chris is very sad these days because he sold his jeep. We had an awesome jeep! But we had to change health insurance for little bittie Questington, and it's costing us $300 more a month, which is about how much we were paying on our Element. So we put both cars up for sale, and the jeep went first, and fast! So Chris is now looking for an older 4x4 vehicle, and we are debt free. That car loan was all we had. So there is definitely some good amongst the sorrow...
Harper is a walking machine. She isn't saying too many words, but she "talks" a lot! She's still the best little eater I've ever seen. She's 50th percentile in weight, height, and head measurements...just perfect all around! She's so good, and I'm assured more and more every day at what a great big sister she's going to be.
